Dance is for every body. Fat, skinny, athletic, disabled, white, black, brown, tall, short it doesn’t matter. Dance is for you. Dance is about being present in your body. Moving in the way your body is able to express yourself in that moment. There is no right or wrong way to dance.

Read More“Because you made my life, my very existence, political.” this is my answer when I’m asked, “Why are you so political in your social media?” I have no choice but to be political, because it has been decided that trans people have to prove that we deserve to exist in this world. The barrage of legislation that is being brought up and passed that says trans people are not valid and should have restricted access to healthcare, sports, and just being able to be themselves without constantly fighting at every turn to exist is exhausting.

Pride means something so uniquely different to each and every person. If I talked to 1000 different people I would get 1000 different stories. Each and everyone of them so unique to each person.

Her many many years with GALA North Texas has made her an invaluable asset to the betterment of so many LGBTQ+ lives.
As I have come to know Jeanne better since meeting her she is truly an inspiration for what it means to be present and make sure that the fight for equality is not allowed to be silenced.
